Micro-Sclerotherapy effectively treats spider veins. It is often considered the treatment of choice for these veins. 
Micro-Sclerotherapy involves injecting a solution directly into the vein. The sclerotherapy solution purposely damages the vein wall, forcing blood to reroute through healthier veins. The damaged vein is reabsorbed into local tissue and eventually fades. After Micro-sclerotherapy, treated veins tend to improve within a few weeks, although occasionally it may take a month or more to see full results. In some instances, several sclerotherapy treatments may be needed.
